Founded in 2024, we specialise in crafting premium handcrafted embroidered shirts that merge the richness of traditional craftsmanship with the sophistication of contemporary design. A quiet workshop in old Kolkata.
Brotons began in 2024 with six artisans and a simple objection: menswear had stopped being made by hand. We work out of a narrow lane in Jorasanko, where embroidery has been a family trade for generations.
Each design is drawn, transferred to fabric, and then worked entirely by hand — satin stitch, French knots, sequin and pearl setting. Nothing is machine-punched.

Every shirt is embroidered by hand over three to nine days. No transfers, no shortcuts — one artisan, one needle, one shirt at a time.
